Tree trimming is a delicate operation that requires precision and safety measures. Utilizing a bucket truck is one of the best ways to accomplish this task. For this reason we use a bucket truck on a majority of our tree trimming services. The bucket truck has a hydraulic lifting system, which can safely elevate the arborist to the necessary height. The arborist is equipped with safety gear, chainsaws or handsaws, and other cutting tools and will then assess the tree's branches to determine which ones need to be trimmed. The bucket provides a secure platform that offers stability, making it easier to reach and cut branches accurately.

 

IN ALL CASES - SAFETY

The other method of tree trimming that we use involves climbing with gear. This process usually involves more skill and is used when we do not have adequate access to the tree with the bucket truck. Our climbing gear involves a throw ball to get the rope in the tree,  harness to keep the arborist tied in, ropes and carabiners to provide leverage, and other safety equipment. The arborist must first inspect the tree to determine the safest and most efficient climbing route. Once this is determined, the arborist will use the carabiners and ropes to ascend into the tree keeping a stable base.

Regardless of the method used, the purpose of tree trimming is to maintain the health and wellness of the tree, improve appearance, or remove potential dangerous branches.
